Seven daffodils

Am/                    Am/             Am/              Am/
I may not have a mansion,   I haven't any land.
                 Am/                  Am/           F/             G7/
Not even a paper dollar to crinkle in my hand,
         C/                  Dm7    G7/           C/            Em/
But I can show you morning, on a thousand hills,
                    F/                  Fm/                 C   G7   C/   E7/
And kiss you, and give you seven daffodils.

Am/                    Am/             Am/              Am/
I do not have a fortune,  to buy you pretty thing,
Am/                         Am/                     F/             G7/
But I can weave you moon-beans, for neck-lace and rings .
C/                       Dm7    G7/           C/            Em/
And I can show you morning, on a thousand hills,
F/                  Fm/                 C   G7   C/   E7/
And kiss you and give you seven daffodils.

Am/                    Am/             Am/              Am/
Oh! seven golden daffodils, all shining in the sun.
Am/                         Am/                     F/             G7/
To light the way to evening, when our day is done,
C/                       Dm7    G7/           C/            Em/
And I will give you music, And a crust of bread.
      F/                          Fm/                  C   G7   C/
A pillow of piney boughs to rest your head,
F/                  Fm/                 C   G7   C/   E7/
A pillow of piney boughs to rest your head
